The OpenFit 2 is effortless from the moment you open the box. Follow these steps for the best fit, sound quality, and battery life from day one.
Charge the Case First
Charge the case fully via USB-C before first use. Place both earbuds in the case — they magnetically attach and charge automatically. The case provides 37 additional hours. In an emergency, 10 minutes of charging gives 2 hours of playback.
Pair via Bluetooth
Open the case with earbuds inside — they automatically enter pairing mode on first use. Find "Shokz OpenFit 2" in your Bluetooth settings. Instant pairing. Enable multipoint in the Shokz app to connect two devices simultaneously.
Fit the Earhooks
Hook the nickel-titanium earhook over your ear. The speaker should sit just outside your ear canal — not inside it. The long hook portion rests behind your ear, the smaller part sits on top. Adjust until secure but comfortable. The golden-spiral design distributes weight evenly so it stays put during any activity.
Enable Dolby & EQ
Download the free Shokz app to enable Dolby Audio (toggle in audio settings), choose from 4 EQ presets or create a custom 5-band profile, customise button actions, and enable Find My Earbuds. Dolby Audio is particularly impactful for music at moderate-to-high volume and for video content.
After Use
Place earbuds back in the case after each session — they stop and charge automatically. Wipe the earbuds with a soft dry cloth after sweaty sessions. Do not submerge the case in water. The earbuds can be used independently (mono mode) for calls if needed.
